Motivation - What's Stopping You?

Constructing a happy, healthy and fulfilled life is about developing good habits. No matter if it is the habit of good time-keeping, a healthy eating habit, a studying habit or the habit of listening - our habits can be the foundation on which we build our lives.

But exactly what does developing habits require? Positive habits demand motivation; and for many people, this is something they're seriously lacking.

The Law of Attraction teaches that our reality is what we make it (see - how to use the law of attraction for love ). It teaches that the world is a reflection of our thought patterns, emotions, words and energies. It's because of this that it is important for people to practice positive and conscious thinking.

Identify the motivation needed to create positive habits. Come to recognise these 4 biggest motivation killers to see how you can avoid them, to give you the motivation you need to improve your life for good.

Beware These 4 Biggest Motivation Killers:

1.Excuses. Excuses, can arguably prove the very greatest threat to motivation.

When confronted with our dreams, we can all be guilty of hiding behind excuses. 'I simply can't find the time', 'I'll do it tomorrow', 'I don't have enough time, money etc etc¦' - when we use excuses like these, we are allowing fear to hold us back.

Learn to recognise when you're afraid. Embrace that fear, look for the positives (see - law of attraction affirmations for love ) and remember that sometimes, our very best successes will lie outside of our comfort zones.

2.The 'Perfection' Myth. A lot of people struggle with some form of perfectionism. The problem with this is that when you set yourself such high standards, you can all too easily lose motivation.

Remember, it's always better to take 'imperfect' action than it is to take no action at all.

3.Comparing Yourself To Others. Comparison with other people will always impact our motivation.

We can become convinced that if we only looked or behaved like certain others, then we may be happy too. Using this as a motivator to do or change something in your life will only serve to lower your self-esteem, leaving you seriously under-motivated and drifting towards a life path that isn't your own.

There is and only ever will be one of you. Let your vision for success be what motivates you to make change.

4.Lack of Self-Love. Finally, start loving yourself. Insufficient self-love and the feeling of not being 'good enough' will always stand in the way of motivation and what it takes to create the life that you crave.

The best motivation comes from wanting something which will at some basic level, feed your soul. To create a life you'll love, you should first love yourself.

Release those excuses, be kind to yourself - motivate yourself to a happier, healthier life.
